Eternally Significant

If only we had eyes to see what God can see. So often we don't understand, we question, we doubt and we wonder. Life throws battles at us that don't make sense. We pray, we act, we pray some more, we praise, we get prayer warriors to agree with us and still no answer. Everyone has been there. If you haven't, it's a matter of time. Life doesn't make sense sometimes, we live in a fallen world. We can choose to believe God is good or believe that He isn't. The great thing about God is He can handle my doubt and questions. He doesn't get upset with me. He comforts me. He is ok with me being angry and crying out; I believe God wants us to question Him and cry out to Him when we are upset or don't understand "why?" Just as David did in the book of Psalms, God is big enough to handle our doubts. I believe it is in our doubts that our faith grows. I believe it is in our questions that we find who God really is. He is EVERYTHING I need.

I read a statement in my devotional today that opened my eyes. "God's dream for your life is exponentially bigger than your dream. It's "ETERNALLY SIGNIFICANT" This really hit me this morning....what we are going through, that we don't see an answer to our prayers (yet) could have a BIGGER purpose and reason then I can see with my earthly eyes. Maybe there are people that need Jesus that this battle is taking me to, maybe it's for a BIGGER purpose for a future calling. Whatever the reason I can't see with my earthly eyes I know God is always GOOD, God is in control, God knows, God cares, God is faithful, God is my healer.

I encourage you today; whatever you are facing, remember we only have earthly eyes to see the situation. Our Heavenly Father knows best. It's all about enteral significance!
